Here are our broodmares pedigrees. For now I don't have much for great photos but will add them as I get them. These mares have been producing some outstanding foals for us and we hope they continue to do so. We have raised a good share of them and purchased some to add other great genetics. We only breed our mares if their colts are of great disposition and are worthy of producing us some top of the line prospects. It gives us a sense of pride knowing that the colts we put on the ground or sell as a prospect or broke horse are something we would want to keep for ourselves. Thank you for taking the time to look these over.

Rugged Larks Shiner known as "Babymaker" to us is an own daughter of Night Time Shiner. Night Time Shiner was a great horse himself with NRHA LTE of + $19k and NRCHA of + $4k. He was also named AQHA Superior Reining Horse earning 57 AQHA Reining Points, 22 Working Cowhorse Points, 1 1/2 Amateur Cowhorse Points, 1/2 Amateur Reining and 1/2 Western Pleasure Points. Shining Spark was named NRCHA's youngest Million Dollar Sire and in 2011 was inducted into the NRHA Hall of Fame. He was the 1993 AQHA Junior Reining World Champion and the 1994 NRHA Open Derby World Champion. "Babymaker"'s great grand sire War Leo Jr claimed 113 AQHA performing points and is a NCHA money earner. Not only does "Babymaker" have those accomplished horses on her sire's side she also has outstanding pedigree pouring out on her dam side. Larks Shorty Lena was an own daughter of the great Rugged Lark. Rugged Lark claimed two AQHA Superhorse titles at the World Show once in 1985 and again in 1987. He earned AQHA points in Hunter Under Saddle, Western Pleasure, Trail, Hunter Hack, Reining, Working Hunter, Western Riding, Pleasure Driving, and Barrel Racing. Rugged Lark holds three AQHA World Show titles. Also on "Babymaker"'s dam side is Shorty Lena who is listed in Equi-Stat's All Time Leading Sires and has offspring earning over $8 Million. This could be why "Babymaker" has been producing high-quality offspring for us. She has a daughter in cutting training currently and we expect to see more in the future. Night Time Gunnin is a daughter of one of our favorite mares Rugged Larks Shiner. Rugged Larks Shiner is a daughter of the great Night Time Shiner. Night Time Shiner has an incredible show career as posted above. Shining Spark also needs no introduction as he was a World Champion and youngest Million Dollar Sire. Rugged Larks Shiner has produced a number of great colts for us and that is one reason we kept this mare for our own broodmare band. She is a beautiful golden palomino. Her sire Bricks Playgun was a stallion we purchased and used to grow our program. He is a son of Gringo Pistolero who stood in Glad Valley SD. Playgun is a leading cutting and reining sire with LTE of + $183k and offspring earnings of + $3.2M. He was a great athlete. Playgun's dam Miss Silver Pistol was a NCHA Futurity Non-Pro Champion with LTE of + $500k and offspring earnings of + $320k. This mare has a great disposition and eye catching appeal. Bricks Milkshake is known here as "Nubbs". She is also a daughter we decided to keep as a broodmare out of Rugged Larks Shiner. As you can see we really think highly of her offspring as being great riding horses and broodmares as well. They really have a great mind as well as disposition. "Nubbs" also being a daughter of Bricks Playgun; she carries his big shoulder and hip. These bloodlines have proven themselves and we are excited to cross them with our current stallions.

Esel Jae Mont has been in our program for a long time. She was passed down to us from Travis' brother and we have been breeding her ever since. She has produced many of our high selling prospects and comes from a foundation bred line. All the way back Docs Jack Sprat started off his career by becoming the Champion of the 2 YO Stallion Class at the Denver Stock Show. Docs Jack Sprat went on to earn 15 AQHA Halter Points, 14 AQHA Western Pleasure Points and 29 NCHA points. He was also a NCHA Derby Semi-finalist and earned his NCHA Certificate of Ability. Peppy San Badger needs no introduction as he was inducted into the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame in 2008. He was the 1977 NCHA Futurity Champion and 1978 NCHA Derby Champion. Also earning Reserve World Champion in 1980 and Champion at the 1981 NCHA Finals. LTE + $172k and offspring earnings of over $25 million makes him an asset to any offspring. Esel Jae Mont also has Supreme Question on her papers who is the dam of 11 NCHA Money Earners. She has an older set of outstanding performers on her papers but has been producing phenomenal foals. Two years ago we sold one of her sons for + $10k and before that a son for $9k. These colts are the real deal. Get one of her colts before there aren't anymore. Hollywoods Sparkin came to us from Texas. "Jewels" pedigree is packed full of money earners and top performers. Her sire Slide Over Hollywood is a two time All American Quarter Horse Congress Champion Stallion. He has NRHA earnings of + $21,900 and has earned 66 AQHA Open Reining Points as well as 5 AQHA Open Cowhorse Points. "Jewels" dam is an own daughter of the great Shining Spark. Shining Spark is the youngest NRCHA Million Dollar Sire. In 1993 AQHA Junior Reining World Champion and 1994 NRHA Open Derby Champion. In 2011 Shining Spark was inducted into the NRHA Hall of Fame. With this outstanding pedigree we expect great things of her offspring. Be watching for her 2018 foal by Boon To Cat. It will be an exceptional cross!

We purchased "Jackie" as a weanling at a local sale. Her pedigree interested us and when we seen her we decided we had to have her. She is a very neat red dun color and has been a 100% color producer. Her 2017 foal will be her third and we always look forward to see what wild color she will throw. As you can see she has Peptoboonsmal on her papers as well as Hes A Peptospoonful. When Hes A Peptospoonful died in 2012 his offspring earnings exceeded $3.4M. In 2011 he was in the NCHA Top 10 Leading Sires and NRCHA All-Time Leading Sires. He was a great athlete producing over $72k NCHA earnings. He was named 2006 NCHA Freshman Sire of the Year. Not only that but Peptoboonsmal has a long list of achievements as well. On the bottom side "Jackie" has a little running blood going back to Jet Deck and Moon Deck. She also has some foundation going back to King, Jackie Bee and Poco Bueno. The bottom side of her pedigree is very dynamic and we have been excited to see what she gives us every year. She is a very sweet mare as one day a neighboring colt slipped under the fence into the pen with her and when the colt was hungry it just buddied up with her foal and she fed them both! Not very often do you have one like that. Be watching for her 2018 foal by Dmac Salty Spoon.  The full sister to the foal listed on our sale page sold this fall for $1300.  What an phenomenal producer!

We purchased "Fireball" right out of the Bob and Karen Meyer program. We are very pleased with the Young Gun stallion they had in past years. They recently sold him which made us value our daughters even more! Young Gun was the 1975 NCHA Futurity winner and had LTE $34,750. He also reigned Champion at the 1992 Bonanza 4 Year Old Open. Being the athlete he was he managed to sire 210 money earners which won close to $3 million! He also passed down his ability being known as a leading maternal grandsire. In 2006, he was listed 23rd by Equi-Stat for maternal grandsires with grandbabies earning over $250k. On the bottom side of "Fireball's" papers we really appreciate the Drop of Frost line. A great line going back to Doc Bar and Sugar Bars as well. "Fireball" had a phenomenal foal for us this spring that we plan to keep and breed. Her disposition and build are simply what we look for in breeding prospects. Be watching for her 2018 foal by Boon To Cat. We expect another excellent foal.

As mentioned above we LOVE these Young Rio Gunner foals. Their disposition is just second to none and with 4 kids at home that means something to us. Not only that but when looking to sell foals later on who doesn't want one that is kind and has the build we all look for. Young Gun was a phenomenal horse and passed that down through his offspring. On the bottom side of "Tawney's papers you can see she isn't lacking pedigree there either! Grey's Startlight is just as well known for his abilities and offspring. His LTE +$35k in the NCHA and also was a stallion who passed his ability to his offspring. He surpassed the Million Dollar Sire Mark in both Reining and Cutting, with total offspring earnings over $10 million. This will be "Tawney's" first foal and we can't wait. She has a solid build and is expecting a 2018 sired by DMAC Salty Spoon. This cross will produce a strong solid performer for sure!

"Mouse" is a 7/8 sister to "Fireball". Remember I said we had a real love for these colts, well we breed several of them! We just can't get enough of their disposition or just how great of foals they are giving us! Young Gun and Doc Bar really need no introduction but if you want some statistics check out Gunners Frosty Girls notes. They are nearly full sisters! "Mouse" is special to us due to the oddness of her color. She is a black/grey rabicano which is very intriguing. Be watching for her 2018 foal by Boon To Cat.
